0 _ Introduction

The Music Explorer is a STEAM journey course designed for KS2 SEND and mainstream students working collaboratively to achieve the Arts Award Explorer. Through this creative and collaborative STEAM journey, students will also develop literacy skills by recording, reflecting, and sharing their experiences.

This course consists of:

• 7 lessons with video tutorials, slides, and homework sets.
• 7 follow-up lesson plans, all of which include Arts Log templates.

To achieve the Arts Award Explorer, all follow-up lessons must be completed. Three of the lessons require a Makey Makey kit, but these can be adapted and covered without it if necessary.
